Critics' Review:
"The nose on our 2016 Single Vineyard wine is all at once fresh, bright, slightly spicy, mineral (wet stone) and broad with a fruit character that is subtle (even secondary to the other elements) and made up of blackcurrant leaf and citrus that is so ripe it tips into orange blossom aromas. Once in the mouth the attack is light and bright. The mid-palate is broad and weighty with ripe citrus and kiwi-fruit avours. These persist through to an incredibly long palate that loses nothing of the wine’s complexity and depth before an even longer nish"

My Review:
This refreshing wine was a perfect mixture of earthy and fruit flavors. I would say that this wine exemplifies what New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is famous for. Herbal fruity, flavors in this wine included pear and lemon that create a crisp, acidic splash of flavors. The citrus elements would pair well with white fish and chicken helping pull through the herbal, acidic nature of how the meal would be prepared. I greatly enjoyed this wine because of its light, crisp flavors and for the price it is a great wine to enjoy in any setting. I will definitely be imbibing this wine again in the future, and will probably make it a staple in my wine lineup!
